First offroading trip in the jeep...

Ocala national forest!
All was great aside for the fact that right as we were pulling onto the trail we hit a trench and the hood straps went flying off both sides of the jeep!! Then we broke the windshield hook on the hood trying to tie down the hood. Other than that it was a fun trip, went through some deep sand without getting stuck makes me proud! Any recommendations on hood straps???

Those forest roads can get a bit rough. Where were you exactly out there?

I was out in ONF as well...... yesterday (9/26)!

My first trip with the ocala jeep club. Had about 12 jeeps or so. We rode in the Salt Springs Area..i'll be starting a thread and showing off a few pics here soon.

I was thinking about going over that way but didn't. We went down some roads in the center 9 & 13 I think. It was our first time out there so didn't really know where to go. Wish I would have known there was a pack of jeeps out there! Looking forward to you pics.
