Sure don't bud. If you are looking for trails over by you in NM you might try www.nmvjc.org. They are a New Mexico virtual jeep club and are a good bunch of guys.

Exclamation When I was a kid...

I have been there a lot as a Boy Scout.

Call me if you have questions...210.383.4734

Lots of places to see but you will need to do more waliking than Jeeping:

Places you have to see:
  • The Cliff Dweallings
  • Snow Lake
  • The Cat Walks
  • Roberts Lake
  • The Meadows
  • North Fork
  • Little Bear Canyon
  • The Hot Springs
  • The South Fork.

I don't know if it is still there but there was the Old School A&W between Silver City and the South Ranger Station on the way to the cliff dwellings with a fantastic view of the balck hills.

The US Forrest Service prohibits wheeling in the nateral areas but there are a few fire-breaks you can drive along.

Do you fish? the Fly fishing is great up in the Catwalks.

As a kid I cought 200 Crawfish for my troop in The Meadows in one afternoon I love the Gila...

Thanks for the replies. Ive run out of time to head up there this trip, and seeing the rest of Gila is a good enough excuse to come back in the near future.
