Already WranglerForum, this is the trip to be at this year. A group of us from this forum will be heading to Harlan KY on the weekend of Aug 21-24th. We have the campsite location picked out. Bailey's Creek (south) trailhead it is.

I will be there from Thursday evening till Sunday.

Who else would like to check out this optimal trail system east of the Mississippi?

I might be rolling in for Weds night or will be there Thurs. to enjoy Thurs 21- possibly Saturday then rolling north to visit family in Maryland. This is my rig so you will recognize it and the tag is a version of my screen name.

Here is a pic of my rig, and my tag is my screen name minus the 910. Also I will have my soft doors on when i get up there.

Haha, funny guy. lol. I picked my winch up for it last night, the thing only has 4 pulls on it. Its practically brand new. The guy is also putting brand new seals in the front arb for me because he said they leaked a little. I will be more than ready for this trip!

So this new one has ARB lockers? damn what a find.

hell, he will trade or sell it in a week or two....

Yea, its deff. a pretty good deal. The build on the front axle alone is pretty sweet. Since I dont have a pic yet and Im overwhelmingly excited about it I will just post most of the stats for it. get a pic up later. Keep in mind, Im paying less than 9K for this thing.

Wow, what a seat slut..

7 days and counting. Now I am really getting fired up.

I have this huge pit in my stomach right now because I have no Jeep in my driveway and the trip is in a week. I know Im getting it soon but Im just nervous I guess. God I cant wait to have it waiting for me in my garage every day. I found out yesterday that it is going to take the guys bank 3-10 days to take care of the lean on his loan after its paid off. Which means the title cant be transfered into my name until then. I will have the plate transfered and insurance on it and a bill of sale so title or not I WILL have it at Kentucky. But I think they should be able to get it done.

Damn, talk about cutting it close.

Lol, yes it will. Very close indeed. I think I may pick it up on Friday now instead. I can at least test it out at my house, if I make it through my rock course in 2WD then I will be impressed, lol.

I just bought the Black Mountain 4X4 map, I hope it gets here next week.

Which camp ground are we staying at in Everts, there is a north and south. I think we said south. I will be calling them today to try and get some better directions and will post them up as soon as I get them.

OK ladies and gentleman , I just got off the phone with a very nice lady by the name of Debbie. She has suggested the North Evarts RV Park for tent camping. There is lots of grass and shade for tents. Also water hook ups.

Here are some details that are important to know.

• The North Evarts RV Park is located at 122 Walnut Street, Evarts, KY. Plug that into goggle maps and they are the same directions that Debbie gave me

• Tent camping is $10.00 a day per tent. Cash only. So be prepared. Debbie will collect from us sometime during the weekend.

• The shower house is located at the South Evarts RV Park which is located at 104 David Turner Drive, Evarts, KY. Which is .07 miles from the the North Evarts RV Park.

• We can have campfires, the city of Evarts will provide the wood, so for those who were brining wood, we are saving you some space.

I'd like to stop in, but I'll be driving back and forth from Wise, Virginia to Lexington, KY for work as it is. I have to take a work vehicle with my test equipment. If I am able to stop in I will try to.

I will be rollin in Friday afternoon probably.I wanted to be able to make it on Thrusday but more than likely will not.Anyway here is my Jeep and I will roll in somewere between Thursday afternoon to Friday afternoon depending on if I can take off any earlier.

For those of you who will be looking for where we are camping, here is a picture of the tent I will be bringing. Also I may have a sign made up with the WF logo on it so people know where we are.

Haha, a WF sign. Now thats sweet. You sure did some good homework Taz, thanks for helpin out and getting everyone this information. Im also glad to see so many winch's on all these rigs. Looks like we will have no shortage of pulling power if someone gets stuck or doesnt have their own.

Lol, good call. Im sure it wont be a huge problem finding each other anyway. Id think it will be less crowded on Thursday and a little more so on Firday-Sunday.
