Head Count for Llano 08 Fall Texas Spur?

Ok gang...

We are down to less than 2 months for the
Fall Texas Spur Jeep Jamboree In Llano, TX

COUNTDOWN CLOCK

Who from www.Wranglerforum.com is going to make the trip?

Are we camping together again?

Are we going to try to run together?

I want to start a list

Ty and I will be there again with a new 35' camper.

Hopefully we'll camp in the same spot as before. I'm always in for running together. The more the merrier.

Hey Greg, do you have any pull at the Oxford Ranch Campground? I called to reserve an RV space and they're saying that they are not accepting reservations for the jamboree. She said they're going to "try" first come - first served this year and see how that works out. WTF? She said that in the past people were reserving spaces then not showing up. I offered to pre-pay for the space and she laughed and refused.

I reserved my space for the spring jamboree almost a year in advance and at that time all the good RV spaces were already full. If they fill up that fast then why the would they be concerned about people not showing up? Their logic of not accepting a pre-payment blows my mind.

I would guess that the jamboree would be one of their biggest camping events of the year and this isn't the way to treat the people who are spending a bunch of money with them.

If they have one with water and electricity that would be great. The one we had in March didn't have water.
