Help me out ;)

Hi guys so I know I might get my rear chewed up but I am a really newebie.. So i apologize in advance.
So I'm planning on going off roading in friends land. So I've never offroad and don't want to break anything so what I'm asking is; what are the main steps to go off roaring. For example : tire pressure, should I disconnect anything, should I bring extras of stuff I dunno please help lol thank you

I never leave without tools, a jack, spare tire, straps, flashlight, jacket, water (enough to drink and fill up the radiator). The rest should go accordingly to your location and its weather. (Got a cb radio in case of emergencies a very good investment)

Have fun and be safe

X2 on that and you might want to add a fire extinguisher too at some point, always good to have. If your going with a friend, does one of you have a tow strap?

If your doing rough terrain you might want to take your sway bar links off because it will give your suspension more ability to move around so your not moving around so much but be sure to demoing them before getting back on the regular road!
I thought about buying a land rover but I wanted to get dirty!

I suggests buying yourself your own recovery strap...

I went out with th eclub and didn't have my own strap. I knew the other guys did..But i did feel a little unprepared (which i was) when i got stuck and they yelled to me asking if i had a strap and i had to say "No"

Its good to have yourself the least.

not trying to "chew your butt" or anything, but a second vehicle is the most important thing to take wheeling, and a quad doesn't count you should not wheel without a buddy... even "vets" try really hard to follow that rule... You need someone who's wheeled before with their own vehicle your first time... more than anything else!

EDIT- you'll also get a chance to take a peek at what they've got bouncing around in the back of their rig

what you need depends on where you are going to be, and how far away civilization is, and what kinda of terrain you will be dealing with IMO

but a strap, a second vehicle, water, few tools should be the minimum IMO.
