Help me plan my birthday road trip, top gear style!!!

Hey guys, my birthday is December 25th (I know I know, I'm Jesus) and since during that time we get plenty of days off, I was thinking of taking myself, my wife, and my Jeep on an epic winter road trip.

The trip would be from New Jersey to Nova Scotia. Why that route? No clue. Just looked on google maps, and looked at the farthest point on the map and I have never been to New Hampshire and Maine.

So, I was thinking, between some cool sites, and some cool trails, you guys would be able to help me plan the drive, including any offroad shortcuts .

I will update this thread as I plan, including photos of the actual trip. I guess you guys can throw out cool places to see/stop for the night, awesome trails (no rockcrawling), awesome not-to-miss sights, etc. Thanks for any and all help!!!

Route-wise, I'm open. Don't mind veering off a bit to see something cool.
