High Sierra Event

We went to the High Sierra event this weekend. This took place above Shaver Lake, CA in the Central Sierra's. My son and I ran the Bald Mnt loop and Brewer Lake. I realized quickly I need armor under my jeep badly. I did not damage any body parts, but if I had picked a bad line along the way it could have been bad. I did get get a little rock rash on my wheels. I did things I did not think the jeep could do and the rush afterwards was amazing. Of coarse we met lots of people and it was good. Quite a few people from Socal but mostly from the San Juaquin Valley. I'll post a few pics.

Those were trash bags issued to each person who registered for the event. We picked up trash along the trails.

Those are balls. You need them to run those kind of trails.

Looks like a good trip Point. Don't you love just testing the limits of your jeep and then automatically starting to build it to handle something else.

There is a long ways before your rig isn't streetable my friend. Mine needs to be retired as a DD, but it's still perfectly happy on the road.
