I was just wondering...

Who on this forum is going to the 1st Jeep Jamboree of the season the Texas Spur Jeep Jamboree in Llano, TX March 24-26?

I think I’m going to get Oxford Ranch Campground well before noon on Thursday so I can visit with a lot of folks. If you are going to be there please look me up. My plan is to park the coach Ancira Motor Homes is lending us close to the main tent.

I’m so pumped about Jeep Jamboree I can hardly wait.

If you are not going to this Jeep Jamboree are you planning on attending any others?

I unfortunately live in Michigan, so I will not be making the trip to the Texas Jamborees this year... I will however be guiding (again) at the Kawarthas Jamboree in Bobcaygeon, ON Canada in July! This summer is going to be a little busy, so I think that this is the only Jamboree for the year for me (well, the two on back-to-back weekends).

Wow!

Yeah that would be a long trip.

Last year @ the Palo Duro Jeep Jamboree we had folks that had driven in from as far as Ohio and NJ.

Some day I hope I can do stuff like that.

And yes... They were Dot/Com millionaires.

I will be attending the ST Francisville Jamboree, I would like to know if anyone will be attending. This will be my first Jamboree and the first off road adventure for my family. I just got my new Warn 9.5 Ti Winch today and I cant wait to mount it on my JEEP

Chad & Mitch,

Do you guys want me to mail you some www.JeepTales.com cards to pass out at your respective Jeep Jamborees?

If you like I can send you some JeepTales window decals also.

Shoot me a PM with your home address(s)

This could be a big plus for you guys:

Photos of your Jeep's in action...
For years I had lots of Photos of my all the other Jeeps in my group in action but never of mine. Now JeepTales will allow Jeepers an outlet for exchanging photos from one website with other Jeepers who attended the same event.

Just let me know if you are interested.

It helps other folks too...

At the 2006 Texas Spur Jeep Jamboree last week I met a woman named Kay that made the trip from Florida to Texas just to come to the Texas Spurs JJUSA.

She dropped by my motor home to say "Thanks for building JeepTales"

During our conversation she told me that she had just purchased her Jeep late last year. She wanted to go to a Jeep jamboree but was not too sure about what to expect.

The folks at the JJUSA office had her call "Tony Winkler" the Texas Spur Jeep Jamboree Coordinator. Kay and Tony chatted awhile then Tony said to her... "If you still unsure about doing this you should go to JeepTales.com look at some of the Photos and listen to a few of the PodCast. Perhaps this will make you more comfortable about your decision"

In our conversation Kay told me that she "...viewed all of the Photos and listened to all of the PodCast..."

The event turned out to be "Everything she expected and more."

Tell me Jeepers: Do you feel good when you bring a New Jeeper into our Family of Jeepin’ weirdoes? I know I do; it must be a Jeep Thing.
