Interlake, Southern Indiana

Hi All,

Well we took a short trip to Interlake today. Just wanted to check out the place. My parents ended up coming along, incase anyone got stuck. Just wondering if someone has a map that has been marked with trail numbers and difficulties??? We stayed on the access road that goes through the place, but I was quite surprised at how rough log road gets going towards Clutter. It was my first time driving Blue offroad, so even that was an adventure. There are some huge ruts there now, not to mention mud!!!

Here are a couple of pics, sorry they are off of phones. I will remember to take the camera next time. The Blue 2010 is my baby and the Yellow 2011 is my parents.

Thanks for putting up with Newbies like me!

There are some really nice hills on the side of the main road. I've only been there once with IG and her Hubby. Look forward to another trip up there during the dry season.

Thanks, i got that map...just wondering if someone had marked one up as to what is what.

I noticed some trails had nice new signs and one had a danger, steep hills sign...

Like this one? It's probably less than 100 horizontal feet off the road you were on. It's also probably 50 feet or more vertical. It's on the crest of a hill that starts right next to the roas then breaks over and goes right back down. Quite steep.

Here's another shot.

Most of the trails are marked at the entrances as to their difficulty. Green being easiest, etc. I'll get Trey on here and have him tell you more about which ones are the easier ones. I will tell you that you probably want to steer clear of 13.... It doesn't seem too difficult until you get to the point of no return, and you are between a big rock and a big drop off..... If you go too far right to clear the rock, you are off the edge.... We have pics somewhere of a buddy, hanging off the edge.....
