Hopefully everything mechanically works out for me this time around. I have the tranny and transfercase out now. Putting in new clutch tommorow and waiting for a shift rod bushing to come from quadratec. Next couple of things to do is battery, lift kit, brakes, and maybe i can get the floor bedlined in there sometime too.

The Pine Barrens gave rise to the legend of the Jersey Devil, said to have been born to a local woman named Mrs. Leeds in an area known as "Leeds Point" in 1735. It was said that he was her 13th child and that being an unlucky number he was cursed and thrown out to fend for himself. Most sightings of the legendary Devil have occurred in or near the Pine Barrens.

I wish i could go!

being from jersey this is just one of the many stories about how the jersey devil came about. they all stem from the "Leeds" lady, but there are many different variations.

yes it does. i took my stock tj there many times and had no issues. now it has a 2" bb and 31's and still no problems. last year i took my cj7 w/ 1.5" shackle lift and 31's (which i will be taking this time) and had no problems. also stock commanders go and also don't have problems.

Those are cool videos.

One of these days I'll make it out your way. That's the same weekend as our Midwest XK Get Together and July is Colorado. Maybe Rausch Creek in August.

When is this, I'm going to be coming to Jersey shortly after school lets out... Hmm, wondering if I can get that transfer case fixed up and arrange a lightweight trailer that quick?
