Just before this trip, I had to do some major tweeking, on my suspension. I took it too Jeep Outfitters, and let them look at it, and they found my problems right off the bat. They replaced a bad heim, on the steering, and did some repair to the frame where the rear coilovers are attatched, and I wheeled it hard this weekend, and am very happy to say that the lift, is finally right, no axle wrap. Awesome job they did. You have to love people that do good work.

I did not have the heart to show our one jeep mishap. It was gut wrenching. I may show it later, but for now, I will keep it off the net.

No one was hurt physically. Just a lot of wounded pride, in his ride. A Rubicon, no less. I hate it when that happens. I guess I could show you his belly. That would not be very identifiable. It will have to wait until tomorrow, so I can upload it to photobucket. Too tired right now.

Hmmm....we need to plan a trip. Katemcy is only about a 4 hour drive for me. I could hold down the bunny slopes while the big boys play on the granite.

Katemcy is definitely doable for me. I think it is a little over 500 miles one way.

Maybe we should all kick it around a bit. My fall schedule is mildly open.

The last run on their schedule, that is open, is Sept. 28-29, I think. It should be on the cooler side of the barometer, by then. Is that doable for you both????????

September 14-16th is the Kansas Krawl 5 and I'm expected to make an appearance for a certain big named magazine so I most likely will be MIA for the 28-29th.

Blu, that is now definitely on my list of places to wheel. Looks like you had a great time and I can tell from your pics that your junk is now finally in good order.

The Carnage

This is for you, SS. I hope it does not cause you to keep your Jeep in the garage. The sad thing about this whole thing is, he did not want to do the crack, and was going around it, slipped, and wiped out, anyway. His chances were better doing the crack.

Axel, sucks that fella flopped when he was trying to be careful and not get himself in trouble. Looks like his rig came out fairly unscathed though. By the way it was sitting I'd of thought that the hood and fender would've taken some hits.
