Got to get out of the heat in Phoenix AZ this weekend with a few friends. Went about 200 miles North to an area called "The cracks" It was a great weekend!!! Here is a link to the pictures, I am sure you will see a few "Famous" Jeeps...... Hackles Jeep Needs more Flex though. I think 1BLKJP's does too.....
It was an AWESOME weekend up in the high country. Good Wheelin, Great Friends, Excellent weather at 6300 feet. There were probably a thousand pictures taken this weekend. Lisa's above were some of the best, but there will be some more highlights as the thread goes on and Hackle is editing the video also.
I think Regina took a bunch of those. And the guy with the Pinz got me on my "what I thought" was almost flop. :d
Here's Lance's flop. Or I guess we should say 2nd flop. He flopped and three of us pulled him back over and he said he wanted pictures so we pushed his jeep back on it's side.
You like that Scott? It was a really easy weekend too. No one had any issues. Rigs were built for the terrain and everyone that didn't want to tackle something didn't like they should do.
My navigator, John, took over 2hrs of video from the first day. Lots of good flex shots of everyone through the snake pit, etc and from when I lost the bead going through the squeeze. I'll see if I can get it on a website somehow.
John was feeling "homesick" for his xbox video games so we left kindof early but had a great time while we were there.
HA, Ben we thought you Fat Chicked us and just took off when you said you were going to town. Got your message the next day. Glad you all could come up for the day.
Here are a few more pics of the weekend. The girl in the yellow TJ is only 16 years old and this was only he 4th or 5th time driving a stick. Yeah, her dad has 5.89's in there, but no 4:1. Now she wants him to trade in her Mustang on a Jeep.
There ya go, having all the great wheeling............ Awesome pics, as usual. Darn, I have got to get out that way. Did you mess up the side of your junk, Jack?
No as bad as the pic looks you hardly if at touch the rock. Joe picked some nice lines for everyone
It was a lot of fun and yes you do need to make a trip out here we will show you around with style
Jim
