Local Jeep Club Anniversary Run

Yesterday our local jeep club had it's anniversary run. There were over a hundred jeeps. It was a very very very long day. Joe, Don, Ben, and I were on a run with 26 rigs. There were some bumps and bruises, but for the most part we had a great day.

Was this the Crown King run?

I'd really like to get out there again.

Yeah it was the CK run. It took entirely too damn long and that might've been my last one.

Good stuff Jack!

BTW, is that some super secret trail? Or can you share?

No, absolutely not. It's commonly referred to here as "The backway to Crown King". It leaves from a local lake called Lake Pleasant and ends up in a very small little mountain town called Crown King. It's probably 30 miles or more with very few obstacles depending on how hard the rains have been. It's not the kind of "Trail Ride" that we do, but once a year the local club does a run for everyone up there. It's more fun at the top then it is on the ride.

CK isn't terribly bad - probably a few spots where you'd scrape stuff. Although I haven't been there in a couple of years, I'm sure its changed a lot.

Nah bro, CK is an easy trail. There are some interesting spots, but there are always easy roadways around them also. There were a few stock jeeps and many many jeeps setup in the same manner that yours it. It would be a good trail for you to cut your teeth on.

The paint job on the first looks awful expensive for a trail Jeep.

Any day wheeling is a good day.
