looking for a place to camp/ride around bay area, CA labor day weekend

Well as a last minute thing, id like to to take my wife and son on an overnight trip somewhere. like to find a place within say 100 miles or so of the bay area that i can do a little trail driving with my new jeep and pitch a tent overnight sunday/monday. if you know of a place that i could go, please let me know. thanks!

Hollister Hills? I've never been there but it is an OHV area.
