Looking for nice offroad sites in southern california

Think the title says it all I just got my JK a month ago, and I'm dying to break her in with something awesome. Anyone know of anything epic?

Where in so Cal and how far are you willing to travel? And how epic are we talking?! Epic is limited in some cases by how built your Jeep is

San bernardino mountains has some excellent trails from easy to black diamond, weather permitting. The high desert, Lucerne valley has a good variety as well.

Anza Borrego Desert accessed off the S2, Lawson Peak/pancake rock, Corral Canyon OHV park, Truckhaven/Ocotillo Wells OHV area, Big Bear, Hidden Valley. Watch the WF for a ride going out near you.

Thanks for the inputs y'all. By epic I basically meant anything fun, and up to the limit of what I can expect my '12 non-rubi to be able to, realistically, handle solo. I haven't really ever been off-roading and I'm wanting to start pronto. I didn't get a wrangler to take the road well traveled ya know? also, by epic, I was implying that if ANYONE was gonna be going on something non-solo that I can join(one again, within a stock '12 limitation, lol), I would be there in a heartbeat!

I'm more than down for a trip. I actually just got through doing Bullfrog in Johnson Valley with the 4x4 Corps. Awesome time! But yeah, just let me know at least a week out, and I can almost guarantee I'll be there!

Where is the trail head start and is it an easy trail I'll be wheeling with little ones?
