Looking for trails in upstate SC, or western NC

Anyone know of open trails in these areas. Horse pasture road is about the only one I know of right now and it is closed. I want to ride this weekend and not at a OVR park like gultches.

Hi Gray, I don't know of any in SC but there is a large community of jeepers up here too and several very good wheeling spots. Many in and around Raleigh NC and then probably the best near NC and SC would be Uwharrie National Forest.

There is a jeep club based in the upstate, but has members in NC also.Great bunch of guys. AJTR.com Horse Pasture is closed till 1st of April. Its game lands so it goes with the hunting seasons.Crossroads Mtn. is open right now but Mustergroung rd. is closed,so you cant make a loop.Crossroads Mtn. will get you about 18 to 20 miles out and back of mild dirt roads with great views.Perfect for stock jeeps. Then theres Hurricane Creek west of Asheville off of I40 near Harmans Den.The guys in the club try to ride somewhere once a month.

They also have a Facebook page but make sure you have a pic of your Jeep on there or let someone know before sending a friend request. Guess they got too many spammers & tightened up on allowing people they didn't know to join
