Moab RV Parks

I notice a few folks here list Moab as home. Couple times a year we RV through on the way from WA to NM. Any recommendations for RV Parks?

I'll be towing my Jeep next time through and plan to spend a few days.

Suggestions are very welcome.

Thanks.

JW

I don't run an RV, but I did see 3 or 4. If I had an RV I would stay at the one north of town Archview RV park.. If your going in spring or fall you had better make your reservations at least 6 to 9 months in advance..

So do you mean the RV Park about 10 or so miles north of Moab? I've stayed at the park that is the first you come to when entering town.

We usually go to NM in April and August.

Thanks!

Yes, we showered at three different RV parks, and Archview was by far the cleanest and best maintained.

We're in Portal RV right now. About 2 miles North of town on RT 191. Don't know about showers and such as we use our own facilities. Stayed here a number of times in the last couple of years and has always been fine.

Brad in Moab, UT for the moment ...

The 18th of April will be right in the middle of The Easter Jeep Safari. Not sure if a camp site will be available with in 50 miles of Moab at that time. We'll be leaving on the 15th and will back after the Safari is over. Might want to call ahead.

It depends if you need satellite friendly. OK is a Passport America Park, but you'll have your front tires off the ground. Sat Friendly. Spanish Trail is a nice park, very heavily treed, not sat friendly. Portal is sat friendly, and level. Nice Park. There are other parks, but never stayed. Check rv park reviews web site.

The portal is the best one & there are 2 more right along that stretch of hwy, then the Moab Rim is another nice one, also the Riverside Oasis.Canyonlands is another very nice one in the middle of town. Of course there is a heap of primitive camping around Moab which is good to, they put in some new ones recently along the river. There are a few very nice ones along the Potash road with big trees & toilets
