Moab Ut.

Me and my wheelin buddy are thinking about Moab in late July or early August. It would be fun to get a group together for a little rally! Anyone interested? Send me a PM. http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5...pt07061vj7.jpg

Just thought I'd give you an update on the possibility of a Moab trip. We are still discussing it, but if gas gets any higher, it's unlikely that we will make a 900 mile trip this year. We'll probably just go to the eastern Colorado mountains for some closer to home wheeling. My wife loves that area because of the natural beauty and there is always wild lift to see as well. I'll keep you posted as the time approaches.

you dont wanna do moab that time of year. the heat sucks ass. my friend just got back from a 5 day trip. 107 degrees she said. and i can vouch for that. 92 degrees in the shade is what we saw last year! (at this time.. late july)

unless you like the heat, or know of some local water holes (im not telling!!) dont bother with moab from june-august !

here in salt lake city, we are in our hottest time of the year now. i dont doubt moab is the same.

give it a few weeks and it will be tolerable.

october is the absolute best time to go IMHO
