Nevada Pony Express Trail

I am pulling together books, Maps, and GPS data for a trip across Nevada following the Pony Express Trail. I plan on doing it in stages, starting in Dayton and heading east.

Anyone interested and/or have data or knowledge?

that would be awesome..
would love to join.. i was on way from NY to cali and came accross pony express quite a few times..
there were "historic markers" on US 50 about pony express trails and some arrows pointing the trail of pony express..

This was some where on US 50 between Ely, NV and Reno.

keep us update on your plans..
will let you know if i find any information on it..
cheers..
