Otay Mountain Truck Trail (CA)

I just wanted to show off my new jeep by driving up to the top of a mountain and snapping some photos! First trail I've takin it on but not the last.

Otay MountainTruck Trail. I did a quick google search and found it. It's a fun trip to the top with some amazing views.

Is that the one is San Diego? I did a google maps search and found 3 of them

Yes San Diego! You can see the ocean and Mexico on a clear day

That looks fun. I have a stock TJ 4 cy and I just need something simple to get away. As I add mods I can get to more challenging trails.

You would for sure make it. Pretty well maintained. Saw some Subaru up there.

Looks fun. Check out Anza Borrego for easy but non-maintained trails. Took my stock JK and had a blast. Google the mud caves if you wanna throw in a fun hike too. And a word of advice, get gas at the Acorn Casino (right off I-8).

Hey thanks for the trail tip! Ill be sure to check it out. This Sunday I'm headed to terra del sol with a friend to see what it's all about. I'm real nervous.

i will have to head up there. i am in escondido and have been looking for trails. have you been to the truck trail in ramona that connects pamo and black canyon? there is a gate that is usually locked in pamo valley but it leads up through the canyon. it's beautiful, i went up it once 6 years ago and had to stop for a few minutes because a deer was chillin eating it's lunch and we didn't want to startle it. ha
