Our Veterans Day outing to the Wickenburg Massacre

Just wanted to drop a few lines about taking a little trip to the past with my daughter and wife to the Wickenburg Massacre ( see link and some of our pics below) site here in Arizona.
We had taken off to see the famous Vulture gold mine and some other sites and ended up at the Massacre site that basically started the end to the Indians because the news went national. To tell you the truth they said it was the Indians but some of locals felt it was bandits that had hit a stage coach of nine killing all but two, a male and female. The female died about six month later of infection.

Anyways the trip was a blast definitely bonding time and Our JK did great in the mud and sand. It may be geared high but it crawls when ya need it to. This was basically a easy drive but a good test for our jeep since it was its first time out for us (I LOVE IT). I now know I want to get a small trailer to haul some stuff we might need.

We plan on more trips like this in the future and would be glad to report if there is interest
