Pyeatte Draw 10/8/08 - 56k Warning

Spent most of Wednesday out wheeling 'The Draw. It's 100% different then when I went out in May. Funny what water does. Some of the "easy" 2.5 areas are now a 4.0 section. A lot of these pictures do not do the terrain justice. The two XJ's I was with was a good friend of mine, Dave(red XJ) and his buddy John(silver XJ). This was Daves test run for the suspension on his XJ. It's got 3.5" lift and 35" X-Terrains tires. I think my next kit is really going to be an RK one. His control arms are MAJOR BEEF! Welp, enjoy!

Sure is - there is an area near the end of the draw where that are dozens of saplings that you can weave in and out of. Very wonderful place. And only ~20 miles away.

No - it took us alot longer than we thought... but it looked rough as hell where we pulled out. All the rain from the monsoons has destroyed just about everything. That cushy side road is pretty torn up too. I was hoping to stay but I'm leaving today for the valley. Dave and everyone else is still up here waiting on others to show up and wheel some more. I'm sure they will have pics of the fall one of those other sites.

Yeah, we were up there a couple months ago and it was a nice challenge on somethings now. I know it's rained more since then also. Glad you got to get out and hit some rocks. Dave's XJ is looking good.
