We ran the blue trail on 07.23.11
It started out nice than a bit muddy!

We will be going towards the end of September. I post it up.

I wouldn't take my JK to the humps and all that brackish water. I had a Tj before and took it there many times. That places is destroyed by all the 2.5 tons and just nasty. I don't even take my atv's their. Lost lake is where i live by and go their pretty much on a daily basis. You can only go so far before the trails starting getting smaller and you start scratching your paint. Random places is where you start finding new trails. BTW i google earth my places to ride here in south florida and i have some new spots that looks like few people have been, but it's sand and water.

Ha, it works fantastic. Let me know about the camping trip, sounds like something fun and October is good because less skeeters or none.

Yeah, florida city is nasty due to the rain now. I use to go every weekend with my TJ, until i destroyed it in this one hole with this giant wall you have to crawl out of. I even lost my carpeting their. To go to lost lake, you don't need nothing special, just 4x4 and some all terrains. You wouldn't really need the lift, it is all rocks on the ground. Their is more trails with rocky bottom past griffin road on manatee bay which is old sw 36st right off of 27. What are you doing to it now?!

Here is my old Tj before i got my JK.

Wow thats nice, and well yes you make sense all this rain and wid really changes up conditions. And well it needs brakes bad, and i herculined the interior but i want to put carpet back in since its my daily the heat coming from the floor is really bad. Also trying to save up for some metalcloaks and gonna get a 2.5" maybe OME lift kit, not sure what brand yet. I have an srt4 currently i daily so its decent on gas so i put the jeep in my back yard and working on it slowly till i get rid of the neon.

The entrance is on 196th and pines blvd. I live on 186th. You have to know which side to go threw or you could hit this one hole that is for atv's. The only way to go in is around the yellow gate. I'm their on a daily basis, all buds live back their. So everyone is always fishing at the lake or just seeing how deep we can take our atvs.

Snake Creek trail run this saturday the 22nd. If you're interested on the details of how to get to the meeting location in pembroke pines, just pm. Trails are located near crome and US-27. Trails are rocky bottom, but have plenty of water through the trails. Here is the link to pictures of what the trails look like!

Hello, I'm new to this site and new to the wrangler owning experience. I've read that a good place to start my off road career here in South Florida is at the Hump off of Carsound Road. I wanted to know if there are any permits needed to go there. Or can I just show up and start riding some trails? I was also wondering if I definitely needed Rubicon style tires to ride there or if my stock tires would do. I dont have the small tires that come stock but the larger P255/75R17 113S. Thanks for any info.
