STUPID, Slow moving clock

As I sit at my desk today I’m watching a very slow moving clock!

Perhaps the clock is crawling because it knows that by 3:30 today my plan is to leave for the YO Ranch for the Texas Jeep Club Fun Run.

I normally don’t go to the smaller events but this one is picking up steam.

There are going to be Jeep Clubs there from:
  • San Antonio
  • Austin
  • the DFW Area
  • Victoria
  • Houston
  • Other Area Texas Communities

I just got off the phone with the ranch and they tell me there are going to be about 60 Jeep so it should be a blast!

I will be joined by two of My JeepTales agents Mark Toye and Rachel Burner, the only one that will be missing is Adam Rosenfeld and his son Erin. I guess the trip from New York might be difficult to Texas for a weekend run.

By 5:00 PM I plan to be sitting pool drinking my first beer and smoking a cigar.

The Only bummer is I won’t be running Sunday because I have to be at work….

But!; Sunday Night I’ll be at John T. Floors Country Store for the Robert Earl Keen show.

So by most standards I’ll have to call it plans for a Fun Filled Weekend.

Are any of you going to the YO this weekend or the REK Concert on Sunday Night?

I’ll be back with pix and trail reports as soon as I get back.

Now can anyone tell me how to speed up this stupid clock???

Greg, the clock is obviously out of a ford and must be defective! You should probably leave now so as not to be late!

Have a great time!

Good Point!

I hope no one taps on their brakes as I'm leving the office.

Just got back form Sam's so I've done all my shopping.

Pick up a few more cigars and some Ice and I'm out of here.

REK was great!!!

I'm now one of his newest big fans!

That was over two hours of non-stop music.

Here are a few pics of my Rubi playing well with other Jeeps at the YO Ranch. I will work on getting the more pics on JeepTales over the weekend.

-------------------My Jeeps is more fun each time I take it out....

I love my 9.5 Ti winch; In fact, this past weekend at the YO Ranch for the Texas Club Fun Run we used it a bunch including pulling my Jeep with a broken YJ strapped to the back up a steep hill.

Then later in the day we winched 7 Jeeps out of a steep muddy river bed.

***Yes we did block all the tires and we used all the safty goodies while wincing and fixing other Jeeps!

To make things worse it was pouring rain and most of the Jeep we were helping were all rookies that got caught out in the weather.

Fortunately, my friend Rachel (AKA Wonder Woman; AKA MacGayver) did a quick trail fix on my controller wire we tore in two during the first rescue.

Here area a few pics form both rescues...
