Temecula Rock Garden

Tiny, Unlimited, his wife and me went out to a local off-road park yesterday.
There was a bit of carnage... 2 broken axles, rear drive shaft... Hell one guy broke a Grade 8 shackle bolt and continued to wheel. These guys were hard core. A little more hard core for my taste.
Unlimited turned out to be the local representative for Triple A. He was one of the very few there with an operational winch, tow straps and a highlift.
But we all had a good time. Then went out for Mexican after word. Thanks for the beer Brian!

Now, for some pics!

I got off easy... but that could have been two areas in and I knew my bitty tires just weren't going to make it...

The guy in the Cherokee with the hydrolic steering.... he was freaking nuts.

DAMN! Tiny, that rock chewed that slider a good one! Better the bar than the tub though, right?

Any idea how much lift that ZJ had? It looks HUGE!!!

Did Sarge not make the trip?

It's a private area that they open every other weekend at the moment. They're just starting out and a great bunch of guys. The "park" is located out by French Valley Airport on Winchester (79 north). It's back behind the Moose lodge.

www.rockgardenoffroad.com is their site. It does cost, but only $20 for several hours. They take you through a run, take pictures, and then they let you free play as long as you stay in the designated areas.

Nice! Battle scars on both driver's and passenger's side. As flimsy as those milk jugs are, they do protect to some extent.

Nice pics all. This kind of makes me more excited about getting out there for some wheeling. How far is this from say Big Bear? Could we make a weekend of doing both?

I see some SICK lines we could make up.

Who's rig with the hosed up rear floatie? I left those things on there as long as I had the stock rear bumper. My thought was I'd rather those get beat to hell then the rear corners.
