I'm a tad better than handy; in the Kitchen or around a campfire or grill.

People are always inviting me on hunting trips but not to hunt just to be the camp cook, and I'm okay with that.

Good cooking is an art, even more so when it's done camping. You are an artist.

It's a Jeep Jamboree in Llano at the end of March. Unfortunatley it's already been sold out.

Like Scout said; the event is sold out, but there is a waiting list you can still get on.

I also know of a few people who bought tickets but may not be able to attend They wanted to lock in a spot.

Here are links to photos and reviews from the last two years.

It's a GREAT Event!!!

You should look in to attending you can tell it's going to be a PARTY!

They won't bill you until right before the event. Nothing to worry about. The same thing happened to me back in May for Palo Duro. I think they actually charged it a couple of weeks before the event.

Hey Greg, it looks like on JJUSA's website the Oxford Ranch campground is the headquarters for the event. Is that correct?

Yes; that is where we have cammped for the last two years.

Campsites, RV Hook-ups, Showers, Tin Cup Cafe, we set up a shop for repairs at the campground with a welder and compresser.

Two Fat Guys will have techs on site if you need repairs or tires and Ancira will run up Parts on Friday and Sturday night if you need anything while you are there.

For the last few years another local dealer I worked for before; will also set up a Jeep Store: for any Jeep t-shirts, caps or any other Jeep Goodie you can think of.

Cool! In Palo Duro this year I tried to out smart the Jamboree by staying in Palo Duro. Not smart. After that I promised myself I would ALWAYS stay where the headquarters are. I just wanted to make sure.

Rain...

It has been raining in the Texas Hill Country on an off for the last week.

I hope this is the end to the dry cycle we have been in and; we have the burn ban lifted by the time JUSA starts.

But we do not want it to rain during the weekend of the event because that Garnett is like asphalt when its dry but when it rains it is real hard to get any traction.

Exclamation √Ę‚ā¨ŇďArrogance√Ę‚ā¨¬Ě

There is a trail at the Ink√Ę‚ā¨‚ĄĘs Ranch we call little Moab√Ę‚ā¨¬¶

As you make your way to the top there is an area we call √Ę‚ā¨ŇďArrogance√Ę‚ā¨¬Ě the photos below are from √Ę‚ā¨ŇďArrogance√Ę‚ā¨¬Ě.

Last year we ran out of time on the work day to finish learning all the lines perhaps this year √Ę‚ā¨ŇďArrogance√Ę‚ā¨¬Ě will be an element of the trail

Good one, usually it is the opposite. Pictures always tame the actual events.........lol. But don't be afraid, nothing like mixing it up, in the wilds. Get your feet wet, and have a great time.

Greg, this Llano, looks a lot like Katemcy. Looks like a real fun place.
