Put me down for a shirt.

I'm ready too! I have almost everything in order and I'll get some stuff packed and sorted this weekend. I'm pumped!

at the Spring and Fall Texas Spur Jeep Jamboree
That looks great, Greg! I really like it.

I hope the shirts are a hit.

I was asking the Board of officers @ S.A.J.E. if I could offer them on the JeepTales.com website. this week.

I have not heard back from them yet.

This past week's Trail Report

I just got this from Tony:

__________________________________________________ _________________________________________

Well we had our last visit to Ink's prior to the Jamboree. It's the most water I've seen on the ranch including the first year we ran. We posted trailhead signs on all the trails including a couple of Spotter signs at the locations we had rollovers last year. We ran Roy's Revenge, the mud hole Pety and Roy pointed out last week and Waterfall Creek. The entry is covered in water and at the first rock ledge the water was probably 4 feet deep. We ran it both ways and other than Geoff taking a little time the first time everyone made it through without too much trouble.

For those that marked the extension to the right of the entry to Moab we had to make an adjustment. One of your flags marking the trail was about ten feet over a new pond that wasn't there the last time we went up. We extended the trail a little and found a different way out. No one would volunteer to find out how deep the pond was.

For planning purposes the weather forecast improved today. The paper said we had a chance of thunderstorms rather than thunderstorms for Wed- Sat. My guess is we may well have a very wet weekend. I'm digging out my rain gear and I would suggest everyone come prepared. I do have a rain schedule that will give us at least somewhat of a plan. Herman has a couple of large piles of brush and said we could have bonfires of them all. Hopefully the rain won't put them out.

Nancy and I plan on going up Wed. The tent is scheduled to be put up then. IF anyone has any questions give me a call. I'll send out an email if anything changes and if I get any more info. See you all next week.

Tony

Sounds good to me. We'll probably leave Midland around 8:00 am and that should put us at the campground just after lunch time. I'll PM both of you my cell number.

After all the rain!

Fire wood is good...

After all this rain it could come in handy.

I'm picking up 12 cases of Lone Star on Wed.

Camping!

Scout,

Did you ever find your new tent?

Here is what my 10x20 Three room looks like.

I was at Acadamy yeterday and almost bought a 13x23 with three rooms and a porch. Each of the rooms has a flippin' storage area!

I may get one before the summer is here.

Yeah I did. I went cheap and went to Academy and bought a 16x8 Coleman tent. It should work fine for the Jamborees. After reading the weather report I hope it's waterproof!!!

They'll feed you three meals a day. I would pack some water and snacks. Keep in mind the cafe at the campground has a restaurant too.
