The Badlands offroad park 10-20-07

Had a great day out there, Here are a few of my pics.

My first pic of my jeep on 3 wheels since the LA.

Playin on the rocks.

Didnt make this one, had to kill the engine due to lost oil pressure. Guess you cant stand it up that straight. Kinda sucked, I had to get pulled down off the wall, Glad Josh was there to get a strap on the front, that front tire hanging in the air was kinda makin me nervous. I didnt realize at the time that the spare tire would have kept me from going over.

Green trail has some pretty steep break overs.

The rest of my pics

Red, what happened on that climb? Did your "check guages" light come on or something? Gauges wig out on you? I've had mine standing on it's aces way worse than that and yea the lights come on, but nothing happens.

Looks like a nice run. Glad you got out to stretch it's legs.

I was trying to climb it, after a few tries, the check engine light came on heard the beep and looked down and saw the oil pressure gauge was at 0. I killed the engine and waited to be pulled off. After it was sitting level, I started it up and it took about 5-10 seconds of running for the pressure to show on the gauge again.

Here is a side view. After looking at it, it doesnt look bad, but you know how pics are.

In the pic above, you can see that the front springs are being compressed by the jeep pulling from the front. (hooked that one up just in case)

I think you would've been fine. Mines done that before. Just don't hammer on it for 20 minutes like that. Get up the obstacle and no harm will come.

And at first I didn't see the strap and was like "how in the hell is the front end not unloading right there"
