I am off work on Thurs 4/9 and wanting to do a local easy/moderate run. I am thinking of running Bee Canyon (easy) from Hemet to Idyllwild, Lytle Creek (easy to moderate) from the shooting range out to the 138, Pilot Rock Road just south of Victorville (moderate) or Santiago Peak just south of Corona (Moderate and longest run 27.6 miles).
If there is any interest, please feel free to PM me and we can work out the details. I have personally driven Bee Canyon and Lytle Creek and are fun and scenic. The other trails, I pulled from "Guide to Southern California Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails. If you wish to get further info on the trails, check the book as it gives great detail of what to expect. Thanks in advance for your interest and replies.
In progress is cool. Don't try to keep up all the time tho. You'll go broke! We make runs that the stock folks can do too. I'll keep you in mind, but if you want to go and see some of the more difficult (i.e. more expensive crap to put on you're jeep) stuff, I'll invite you too.
I will keep that in mind Larry. Currently the only way I get a Friday off is to use a vacation day and can only use one of those when I am not working the 45 hr. shift. Hope you have a good time Saturday and post some pics when you return. Gives me things to aspire to, haha.
