Lack of hill assist because of slippage in the auto? That's what I'm assuming. I have the manual 05 rubicon, and even the steepest grades are brake free. It will sit at 500 rpm unless I add gas given the high torque from the 4:1. I tried to stall it once letting out the clutch in 4lo in first with the brakes on, the gearing won.
