trails around dfw tx

A friend and I are wanting to find a place to camp, fish and try some trails. We are both new to offroading. Im hoping that someone can help us find some places around the dfw...

My jeep is still stock and My friend has a new fj cruiser.. I hope some one can help us out. thanks

Lipan, Bridgeport (opens soon?), Gilmer, etc...The best thing to do is join a local club and go with them. I joined one in December, and have been on more trips this year than the last three years combined.
