How many of y'all have CB radios? And which is the most bang for your buck? I'm going to Bridgeport on the 28th and think I need one. Should I get a hand held or a whole setup?

I just picked up a basic cobra from wall mart for thirty dollars. It works alright on a cheap antenna, my Firestick will be here next week. That should wake it up pretty good.

I just picked up the uniden 520 from Frys for 45 bucks. Haven't hooked it up yet but I've heard great things about it on here. Is probably one of the smaller units out there.

Which Fry's? My Midland 1001z died in July and I need a replacement. I've been thinking about a Cobra 29 WX NW ST for the weather and PA, but I can justify $45 a lot easier.

Well, I finally pulled the trigger. There is a pretty 2014 Rubi in my driveway. It was painful parting with Zombie Hunter yesterday, no doubt. I am looking forward to seeing what Zombie Hunter 2.0 can do. Getting my lift and tires Monday, will post pics soon. The new guys run with LSJC on the 28th will be the offroad break in for him. Look forward to seeing you guys soon!

That's awesome! The time will come for me to make the tj-jk switch but not for a while. When it does happen the tj is getting d60s front and rear, an atlas 2 transfer case and a v8 swap. That way I can have beast mode and have my jk for everyday use.

If I were going to do a swap, I would go for the turbo diesel.....

I may do the Cummins 4bt if I have the money left over, I just have four different v8 engines sitting around. Cramming a free ls5 454 in may or may not be cheaper. I never got into the cost aspect of my plans, lol.

No 4 low? It may just be a linkage adjustment. I would not take my rig offroad if not 100%.

Yea I'm thinking it is but I don't know much about the linkage or how it's supposed to be, where's a good place to get that fixed?

Does it pop put of 4 low or not go in at all? It is a pretty simple adjustment. It should be an easy search on the forum or youtube

Its pretty easy fix. The adjustment may take some time by yourself. Best to have a friend in the driver seat to check while you adjust.
