Too funny. Ive been in mortgage servicing since 1997 out of college. Performed operational functions and now Im actually entering the technical side, writing/running SQL queries. From my 18+ years of Ops experience, Ive gotten very familiar with the legal aspect of Respa, fnma/fhlmc, servicing xfers, and been deposed for flood ins related issues.

Small world.

Hey guys I've got a pretty good story. So this past weekend when it was pouring rain I got a call close to midnight to go rescue a friend who's da drives a TJ. I was out at the movies so I told him I would come get him after the show was over. I was assuming he was in his dads TJ but I found out I was wrong hahaha I went to an unknown trail off 380 to rescue them and they were in a newer grand Cherokee that was 2wd....... After an hour of yanking them I finally got some momentum and pulled their "jeep" out hahaha so I would like to go check out these trails and see if they are worth going back to!

Hidden Falls, hands down.. better trails, the trails are rated closer to what they are (IMHO). The camping is better. Just about everything was better in my opinion at Hidden Falls. You can wheel at night if you want.

The trails at Barnwell(Gilmer) need to be attended to.. the limbs were scratching the holy crap on my Jeep.. not that my Jeep doesnt have a few scratches, but some of the local clubs or the park, need to get out there and do a bit of limb cutting. No night wheeling. The trails could be marked a bit better.. maybe my beefs are nonsensical to some, but there were some trails rated a 3 (out of 5) that were the hardest 4 rated trails I have ever been on. But the 2's were pretty much just flat roads..

When it cools off a bit, I will head back to Hidden Falls for another weekend of fun.

BigMike, what say you?

I went to some trails of 380 in Denton, it was fun but when I left there was a guy in a truck, followed me for a bit, so I figured ppl there keep a look out for trespassing, haven't gone anymore...

Hidden Falls, then Bridgeport then Gilmer IMO. If I'm going to drive, it will be to Hidden Falls for sure. I saw where they were opening a place in Central TX somewhere around Kileen if I remember correctly. I'd like to see a review on it too.

Really?! Bridgeport is better than Gilmer? I thought Bridgeport was pretty lame. I went once and probably won't go again. It's small, and there's not many trails. And the good trails are few and far between, and only last for like 10 mins.

Heading down to Fossil Rim tomorrow with the family to check out the Wildlife Center - any cool trails to check out while I'm down there in the Glen Rose area?

I've only been to Gilmer once and thought it was pretty weak. Probably due to the group I was with. Good group of guys but the trail our group was on was a bit easy/boring for me.

Wondering if your BP experience was the same. I like BP, have been multiple times and still haven't done all the trails.

So, a pretty hot and dry week. I'm thinking the Rock Creek trails shouldn't be too muddy by now. Anyone interested in going out there either early tomorrow or Sunday AM?

Think I'll be there around 9:30 AM if you want to meet up. I'm bringing my 6 year old son because he wants to look for frogs/tadpoles.

Great. You're more than welcome to come along. To get to the Frisco trail you'll want to get to 121 North going through Lewisville and get on the 121 Toll road towards Frisco. Exit Main Street in The Colony and go North. You'll go past Lewisville lake. When you get to Lebanon take a right. Go a mile or two and you'll come to Rock Creek take a right. Keep on Rock Creek and you'll see a bridge that Rock Creek goes over. Must prior to the bridge you'll see where folks have hopped the curb. Do that and follow the tracks to under the bridge. We'll meet you there around 9:30
