Anyone ever hit the trails on Rock Creek Parkway off of Lebanon? I love it out there, and it's about five minutes from my house. There is a surprising amount trail given the area.
BMRA (Gilmer) is a blast, definitely. Its really nice there. I wish it was closer....I would be out there all the time. This is from last month with LSJC.
Lone star jeep club is hosting the Offroading 101 class. Join the forum and check it out. I'll no out of town this weekend but perhaps we should try for Hidden Falls towards the end of September.

Yep, i will be attending the 101 that LSJC is hosting. Location etc on their forums. Its always good to learn more. I am up for a hidden falls trip, definitely.
10ish works. Know where it's at and that's about it. Have been in there once but didn't play too much as it was a bit muddy for my taste but don't think that will be a problem Saturday.
The trail @ 121 and custer is good for starting/practice. Droppng into the creek is nice as well. Its gonna be hot this wknd, i would head out there a bit earlier.
To me, the difference between Gilmer and Hidden Falls is that you can make gilmer a (long) day trip, but to make HF worthwhile, you pretty much have to commit to a weekend trip.
We have walkie talkies with a 24 mile radius. Will bring them.
