Most jeepers don't want to give out trail locations and directions to them,If i were you id join a jeep club in your area you don't want to travel trails alone anyway

What area are you looking for? U plan to explore the old pueblo ruins and historic ghost towns. I like to explore the Rio Pruerco west of Rio Rancho and up near Jemez Springs.

You can check out Dirtopia.com and riderplanet-usa.com. Rider planet is mainly for atvs ande bikes, but they do have some 4x4 places listed.

I believe you can buy maps at Sportsmans Warehouse, REI, and a few other places that are specificly geared towards exploration of the outdoors. I know a few places up north that are great, and I happened on them by exploring...

a couple of El Paso clubs roll up there. Never works out for me to jump in on a trip, but I hear very good things.

Hello to my neighbor to the north. I am in Lubbock.

Family went to Ruidoso over Thanksgiving and found a pretty good trail called Tower Road. Go to the Ranger's office in town and ask them for directions. Actually there are a couple of pretty mild-moderate trails in and around Ruidoso but you need to go and talk to the Rangers. There is a young girl that works there that is very helpful.
