Man, she was MUDDY this time. Thoughts of needing a chisel at the car wash fluttered through my brain. It was hard to tell where the flares stopped and the body started in the front it was caked on so thick.
I really like the new look on yours. I need to take a better look and chat it up with you next time around. That could be on my to do list for the future.
Thanks for the compliment. they aren't complete yet, I've got to cut in a small light in the side for marker/turn signal. The lights I picked up for them looked a little to big when I put them up next to the fender.
I just stumbled on these posts and would love to join you guys sometime. It looks like you guys have a lot of fun, but stay away from the damaging stuff. My jeep is my daily driver and although I would like to take her out for some fun, I also want to be able to drive her home. I have been itching to get mine on the trails for over a year now, but life has gotten the way. Now Im ready.
Yeah man come out and get dirty with us! Should be another trip coming up soon and info can usually be found here or carolinaoffroadforum.com. Short vid of some places out were we get together to give you an idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rVKOHZV97Y
My mom cooks for us one Sunday a month. Last month when I told them the mud was calling they switched to Saturday for me. I didn't want to test them this time.
I had to go out and try not to look at my Jeep so it wouldn't guilt trip me again
I wanted to be there to check out Shell's new MT's.
That pic is when I had mounted the new bracket to allow for the bigger tire but the wheel bolts(?) needed to be pressed through the bracket and I hadn't found a place to do it yet. It looked weird but I kinda liked it
I know it's last minute but I'll at the Selma property in the morning about about 9am. Neighbor just got a wrangler today, so we will probably be out there for awhile if anyone wants to come on out.
Hey guys, Im new to this forum. I live in Rocky Mount, about 45 mins from Raleigh, but would love to go out with yall sometime. All the trails around here are getting old and I'm always interested in finding new places!
Who's up for a huge get together next weekend on 2/27/11? Lets get all those out of the woodworks for this one. I know everyone has been hiding during Winter, it's time to get DIRTY.
Im willing to come early or stay late and help with the trail, Keith.
