Anyone want to get together this weekend for a trail ride? I'm gettting tired of the same old page rd trail. There's a decent trail in brier creek that is decent with little mud/water, but I'm open to suggestions and want to explore a little. There's another off 98 that I haven't ventured into but looks promising. About 10 minutes from the other trail. Not really looking for a mud fest this time around though!

I can go tomorrow around 2 or later and Sunday anytime really. Depends on which one you want to do, or we xan hit both which would be cool with me. The one off hwy 98 is HILLY!!! Looks like fun. I have a tow strap in case we get stuck. I don't want to do anything to wild this time so I probably wont need it! Anyone else want to join the ride?

I could do both, never been to either. Sounds good to me. My jeep is stock so far so I wouldn't be able to get into anything too crazy either.

Here are a few pics from today! We could have avoided some of the mud but we eventually stopped caring. This is a really sweet trail with hills, wash outs, a few pits, and some wash outs. Deffinitley worth checking out. We were out there about 4 hrs. We went to the trails end and back once so its a good sized trail.

Yea about that......well I guess mud has a way of finding me whether I want it or not. I swear each time I go out I'm not going to get filthy! The clean up sucks!

Anyway I'd have to say this trail off tw Alex rivals page rd. There is not as much water and mud but you can find a bunch of wash outs and stuff.

So..........did you feed the horses?

We did not feed the horses! Citations will be issued! Saw quite a few, went up into the island, got muddier than I would have thought but did get lots of pics.

^eton, pretty sure I saw you cruising down 64 on Saturday. We were down in Waves last week and I passed by what had to be your jeep on my way back home. Definitely notice an awesome Jeep like that one on the road.

Hope you guys had fun out there! Beryl made our trip more interesting

Hey 1man,

Thanks, beryl remnants kept us away Friday AP I'm sure that was us, we saw a lot of nice rigs over the weekend for sure! Can you drive on the beach where you were?

Figured it was you, again, hard to miss your Jeep! Smart to hold out a little bit. Was amazing to see the stretch of 12 between nags head and rodanthe covered in sand and flooded out in stretches.

Quite a few of the ramps were closed in the rodanthe/waves/salvo area we were in, but did see a few open on the way down to Ocracoke on a day trip (and the beaches were wide open on Ocracoke). Think to your left around the Bodie lighthouse is where you can purchase the passes if you want to go out on Hatteras Island. We didn't feel like spending the $ on the permit this trip since we didn't do a lot of fishing. Nice that it is still free above Corolla.
