Parts are all sold other than ARB winch kit with extra D rings, Mastercraft "oh shit" handles (4 of them) and cb antennas. I have two of them actually both are 4 foot.

whats in the winch kit?

Rain likely hood is increasing today for a run there tomorrow. Troy is calling for thunderstorms on both days and some Wednesday. The chance of rain here is about 20% which is not bad at all. Would you guys, Charlie and Jared and any others want to hit up the TWL trails here instead? Jared was thinking of going too but it might be better if we could get a pretty big group. What do you all think?

I'm definitely down for hitting those new trails that Jared knows about. A lot of videos on them here in this thread back a few pages.

Figures you guys would plan this while I'm stuck with 2wd .

I'm itching to try out the new 8.8 and sye, but got to wait until my front gets regeared next week.

Im still gonna go out to URE tomorrow. I know there is a chance of rain, but since i'd get up there early, id have time to wheel before it downpours.

For all that want to go:

I will be at the SLEEP INN off of Page Rd at 8:00AM - 5200 Page Rd, Durham NC

The people who want to go should be there by 8:15AM and we will be pulling out at 8:20AM.

Plan to get there around 10:30 or so and depending on the weather, I plan to get back by 9 or so.

PM me if you know that you are going so that i can have attendee list.

How many would be up for a TW Alexander trail ride here in Raleigh Wed July 4th? I'm a bit tired of page road and the new place looks like fun from the vids up here.

For those that have been to Uwharrie this year or recently, which of these trails is the easiest? Wolf's Den, Dickey Bell, or Falls Dam?

Also, what kind of recovery gear do you have Charlie?

I've never been, so I don't know what's do-able with our setup...but looking at the map I'd say we can do Saw Mill, Wolf Den, Slab Pile, Falls Dam and Dickey Bell. Any others?

As for recovery gear...I've got tow hooks and a recovery strap :P

It'd be good if we can get someone to go that has a winch. What do you have Jude?

I got nada man. I've been once before and only did a little of Wolf's Den. I was looking on the zuwharrie page about trail ratings and you can see the info here about which are easy-mod-hard etc. Zuwharrie Offroad Events LLC

I would like to do Wolf's Den first and then maybe Falls Dam too. Whatcha think? I can't imagine we'd need anything for Wolf's Den or Falls Dam especially since it's been so dry and hot here/there lately. If I remember correctly, most of the trails there intersect or close to each other so you have to pay attention to which you're on. I know that you can get a map and a one day pass at the local gas station before going up to the trails for $5.

Just to add to that...the trails do intersect a lot and you may end up on one you'd rather not be on if not careful. The trails are marked by number and some have changed this year, make sure to get a new map. I'd love to come along, I live just 30 minutes from Uwharrie but already have plans for the day. Enjoy it!

That sounds perfect for me man!

I just went out and bought a portable air compressor so we can air down our tires for the trail and air up after.

Kev if you're close by you should come out and run one with us. Would be great to have one more to go along. Clutch, glad you've got the air compressor and strap. I'm going to head out here in a bit with my lady and pick up a few things for us too. We will plan to be there at the hotel around 8am tomorrow.
