I had a great time meeting all of you. It was a little hot but still had a great day of offroading.

Ok to anyone waiting to see the videos I'm trying to get up here. They are taking a long time to get up on youtube so I'll wait until they are all uploaded and can be put up together in order. I've got two done so far and about another six to go. All are in HD and my laptop wireless just isn't exactly the cat's meow when it comes to speed. Check back tomorrow morning or so, they'll be up then.

I know sorry, each is like 10-15 minutes long and it seems they are taking anywhere from 45 minutes to upload and process on youtube to 2 hours.

There are a few times where my daughter asks "daddy can I have some juice or a snack" on the videos and I'm trying to climb a vertical wall of dirt...

i need to get/make one. i just dont like the way they look personally so i am trying to find a loop hole with the same effect. im more than capable of building something like that, and im leaning toward something that goes inside rather than outside. but i tend to avoid ponds, but i have just about submerged my jeep more times then i care to recall since then so i should probably look into it more seriously...

Yep I've been through some pretty nasty mud holes when I first got my jeep. I've since learned this is bad mmmk? and I don't like mud very much. I suppose I don't really care for the look of one either but I've seen em work in person and through some areas I wouldn't even attempt without. Are there a lot of crossings like that in your area? Are you meaning in NC? I wish there were some springs or creek crossings reminiscent of the ones like in Colorado or something. All we've got are mud holes, pits, and the wet farm land/woods trails here it seems.

there are some power lines around here, and there are ruts so deep my hood almost goes under... for the sake of these alone id get a snorkle. but i would want to have it just so i didnt have to worry about it any more ya know? and with leaf springs i wanna try to stay off rocks, which is why i havent gone to uwharrie yet. im going to wait until i finnish my skid plates.

There are a few trails there without really any rocks like Wolf's Den, Dickey Bell and maybe Falls Dam. Might be a few places in the latter with small ones but almost nothing in the first trail mentioned. I missed a trip down there this past week with a bunch of others and I've been bummed about it for a while now.

Yes I dig it very much. I can't tell ya how nervous I was on some of those spots. Videos just don't show how steep and rutted some things really are in person. Was so much fun, looking forward to doing it again. Always more fun the second time because you know the lines better and where your going.

I know some of you guys know I went to URE this past tuesday and...It was awesome!

It was a constant 85 degrees on the trails and a beautiful view everywhere.

I did all the trails except Daniel and came away with only scrapes on the skids, small wheel rash and a dented left rear shock bracket...pretty good I'd say

Here are the pictures. I know there aren't a ton but that's because we were so focused on wheeling!

Nice pics Charlie! Those last two look like you definitely needed some spotters. I wish we could have come. Funny thing was I had to drive down to visit some family at the lake house at Uwharrie Point on Friday and was really close to the trails but couldn't go. We had an awesome time on the TW trails yesterday here, you have to check those out as well. Cool to see your still rocking the bfg kms and the 2.5 lift.

How's your clutch Scoob? I was trying to be last as much as possible so to get everyone in the video but I think I got second to last for most of it. The thing that kills me is after I first climbed the hill at the beginning and got out of the jeep to film everyone else, my camera was on picture mode and not video.

I wanted to get each climbing that first hill. That's a pretty good challenge to say the least. The first big rock at the bottom on the left is nasty. I liked the second path that is seen in the videos with me going up the other way. Really fun no doubt.
