Trail location info isn't usually posted up on the forum because it's a bit safer to have a group go out that's been there before and show you around. It keeps a lot of places a bit more discrete if you will with less chance of having too many there and possibly getting it watched more. I'm sure there will be another go there soon just come out with us and watch this thread for meet up times.

Clutch fine, I have difficulty going to 4low after I put my 4inch lift kit, the only way is to hold the 4low handle while driving up hill thinking about getting novak cable kit and get rid of this this tc linkage all together.

I wanted to get each climbing that first hill. That's a pretty good challenge to say the least. The first big rock at the bottom on the left is nasty. I liked the second path that is seen in the videos with me going up the other way. Really fun no doubt.

If its that secret just send it in a PM. Its hard to make every impromptu meet as I work weekends, so I'd like to be able to go during the week.

Thanks, we had a great time. A bit nervous on some of those lines being the first time and I had my family with me. If I'm gonna try something I usually like to be alone in my stupidity.

We turned around and wheeled the trail in reverse and by the time we got near the entrance that was enough for all of us that day. Really enjoyed it though and will be back.

That hill at the beginning of the TW trail video is pretty scary the first time. It doesn't go up and then level off straight it goes up and turns to the right so your at an angle ascending and descending.

Try the one on the right! You'll get used to it though.

I think I like the two part hill on the left because its more like a up once then over kinda thing. The right hill has a pretty nasty rock at the front but I'll see about climbing that the next time.

For any of you that were out on the trail Saturday (and anyone else with interest), I am selling the 35s that I was running. Mounted/balanced & spacers too, PM me if interested.

Too heavy or not enough room for the flares? Thought about trimming them?

Both actually. I think you had left before the flex knocked off both rear fenders There was plenty of travel room up front, just not enough in the rear (which didn't occur to me beforehand )

The tires themselves are really nice, but I just feel that they are a little too big (for me) for a DD. I'm wanting to sell these and move to some 33" Crushers...

That's what I thought about the weight and room. We were there when you popped the driver side rear. Wished I'd gotten that on video but alas..

Pro comps are on the heavy side almost in the same category as nittos unfortunately. Good luck with the sell, I'm sure you will find a buyer here locally. I've always been able to turn tires and wheels out through craigslist fairly quickly here. 33s are smaller but I think a perfect fit for looks and function on a 2.5 especially on a two door. For reference and I know my jeep is closer to the camera than yours but this is what I mean. You can see my 33x12.5R15 MTZs in the beginning of this video and then your jeep and Jarred's both with 35s.

I agree, I think 33s would be a much better look and fit. Hopefully I can find a buyer

I know that you have run many different sets of tires... Have you had any experience with the Cepek Crushers? I'm thinking about a 33x12.50R15 or 305/65R17, and some alloy wheels. Upside for 15: price, more sidewall, softer ride. Upside for 17: better handling. Thoughts?

I've only had two sets of tires both smaller than what I have now on a 17" wheel. I ran the wrangler sras and then some nittos mts and it felt good in the handling department for each. However, I was running both with no lift and couldn't really give a good reference for a larger tire on the same wheel because I sold the wheels soon after my first lift and went to a 15x8 wheel. I think you may have less balancing issues with a larger wheel and tire than mine but I need to add too that my Mickey Thompson MTZ ride great and are very comfortable once I got them properly balanced. I think this is the most important part with any tire size and wheel combo.

I've run GY Duratracs, BFG KM2s and now the MTZs in the same size 33x12.5R15 and liked all of them for different reasons. No experience with the crushers...yet.

Any ideas? anyone wanna meet up in a week or show ? I don't mind driving to get their, after all that's what I have it for.

Hey do you guys only trail ride with Wranglers or will you let a Cherokee in the mix? I live in Wilson, so not far from Raleigh and been looking some places to ride with a group. I don't think I am ready for URE yet.

We don't discriminate. We let a certain someone ride with us last weekend in a Ford!

Speaking of - did that issue buff out?
