Glad you made it out, boss! You definitely out worked us yesterday.

As already said, good times. My wife's actually on the phone with her folks in Germany telling them about it...so internationally good times.

I forgot about the pics and video until my wife started bugging me...I got bogged down trying to find my tap for my Hi-Lift mount and painting rifle parts.

Well, the one advantage to batting clean-up is that I had some time to look at my lines. I walked it a couple times between some of the other guys running it and had the benefit of their experience when they helped with spotting too.

I was pretty pleased with the overall level of traction provided though...was able to maintain momentum pretty well. That obstacle was definitely a hoot, though I'll try running it a little more slowly next time after that initial muddy bit at the bottom.

I still love it, it's just a touch closer to the ground But tbh, I haven't noticed a huge difference in mpg. It only seems to be about 1-2 mpg more with those KM1s vs the 35s, so nothing real significant.

That being said, I have posted my 35s on CL if anyone is interested. Tires are in my sig, they are mounted on Pro-Comp Rock Crawlers Series 52 (black & steel). I don't know if I'm allowed to direct link to them or not, so PM me and I can send info. I'd be more willing to work out a deal with someone on the forums as well.

I think you might have been considering this but did the power bother you more than keeping them and just cutting the flares?

Honestly, I didn't notice any power issues. That Pentastar is a peppy little engine!
I'm going to end up cutting the flares anyway - I think they just look better that way.
When my girlfriend (she barely clears 5'1") got a stress fracture from jumping in the Jeep (was triggered from her running, but the Jeep finished it), I figured I needed to drop it back down some. She didn't care that I had the 35s on there, but she wouldn't be riding with me much with them on... That certainly has it advantages, but I like having her in there sometimes I think a 33" is going to be a much better all-around fit for the Jeep (and her).

Good thinking and yeah 33s look fantastic on a two door with 2.5. I'll keep your set up in mind should I come across anyone looking for a set of new tires/wheels.

I got a Spartan in mine and it works great, little noisy and turning in 4wd is a challenge.

The damn mud at TW stained my new aluminum wheels. Damn you OCD.

I'm still finding mud places...I just swapped on a new front bumper and it looks like I'm trying to grow plants in the cross bar that sits in front of the sway bar and below the frame.

Tires, eh? I'm tempted...though I doubt my wife would be all that understanding...and I am not sure I want to go cutting my fenders just yet...or drop 500 on new ones...but, it's still tempting.

I'm going to try and talk a buddy who owns a Taco into coming with next time I am up to Raleigh.

No. One dude showed some interest, but then backed out for some reason. Either no one is in the market for 'damn near brand new' 35s, or I'm using the wrong bait to sell them.

If they don't sell soon, I'm going to look for some alloys that will clear my calipers and remount them. After I chop my fenders!

What up Carlos!? I thought I recognized that Jeep... I finally finished the interior of mine. What a job! I think I passed you in Mebane a couple weeks ago... if you were still rockin' the cargo net.

Welcome to the forum!
