Jeep JK Winch Mount

This one looks good - decent price and it has a winch mount - I believe you can get end caps to house lights also.

We just built one in our shop for one of our draftsman's jk, (its his design) I will get some pics of it Monday and put up, we made a winch plate for it also

Despite all of my hassle with them, I still think JCROffroad's are sweet looking. You'll have to get them powder coated or line-xed, but they are lovely. I also like Expedition One and LoD Offroad.

Edit: And a little known company that puts out awesome looking bumpers is Aberle Offroad (http://www.aberleoffroad.com/jk_bumpers.html).

I'm just glad I had that hi-lift jack and all that steel grating. Don't think I could have got myself and the others unstuck without it.

Nope winch > v8 because my winch can get me out of ruts and your v8 can't

I'll look at thos JCR off road bumpers MTH, are they alloy or only steel? I want to get a nice one but as light as possible.

Steel.

The aberle ones are aluminum though. Rough Country also recently came out with a lightweight modular system that looks good . . . online anyway.

Also check this one: (Product Preview: A Game Changing Jeep JK Bumper Coming to Market!)

When the thread started the bumper hasn't hit the market, but it has now. Pics, links, and the like are later in the thread.

I'm not able to get something really expensive and this venture was unplanned really but that's how most mods happen.

I saw a few front bumpers at $199-260. One is from Pavement Ends and the other "I forget the name" looks good too. I should check out the classifieds as well. If anyone comes across a nice stubby style black bumper with spots for stock fog lights and D-rings lemme know.

Your killing me and yes it does. The dealer here in Cary got one in today and I just happened to be driving by it on the way home this evening. I dropped in to see it and it was a beaut man.

I bet it was!

It is a great color. I'm happy with mine though. You could also pick up a stock bumper of craigslist and put your RC caps on again. Just a thought.

You should get the RC hybrid stubby bumoer - then you can re-use the factory hooks.

The answer is YES! Great run (by my lonesome so I was cautious). Made it to stream crossing, turned back afraid to get stranded...but soooo close to the end!!
