Mine are still on the gopro's memory card. Hadn't had time to sit down and edit out all of the footage that makes the vids an hour long...

I'll get around to it soon enough, maybe even today

Meh I hate mud. Too much trouble afterward. TW is a great place though, we went a few weeks ago and the bottom of that hill climb had changed quite a bit since our last visit. Interesting to see in those videos the new lines people were taking.

You guys should have great weather if there is a go tomorrow. The weather forecast is pretty much perfect for the next week. No rain, mid 70s-80s. Good stuff.

Truck is all washed. All I need to do is replace broken CV and wait for the Kings to come in, and I should be ready to ride again

Hey all,
I'm new here in Raleigh and have a K5 blazer (not a wrangler, but i did own one!) and was looking to meet up and wheel with some people as well. Im free this weekend, sunday is better, to get some wheeling in. I have a winch, so i can provide some assistance if its needed.
Hope to meet you all soon,
Sam

I have a question of recovery for those going tomorrow.
Good note: I bought another jeep today!! So upgrading from a stock JKU to one with 35's, 5.38's and lockers front and rear....
But... it doesn't have recovery points/hooks in the front!! (Yet, until I swap the bumpers).
Is there a safe point that can be used to get by with tomorrow? (Yeah, an newbie question.... but learning as I go!)

If not I will use my old one which is stock but has the winch too.....

Here is the new ride....

Unless there is a safe place to hook through the frame, I would say to use a tree saver around the axle housing. I dont think there is any other safe way to do it unless you have tow hooks somewhere behind that bumper.

First off, I absolutely love an LCG Jeep. Yours almost looks factory height w/ those 35's, looking stout dude. I would take it across a couple of ditches first though as I've got a feeling you're gonna be mighty close to popping those factory fenders off of there. Might have to trim them into some flat fenders to get by unless you have adjustable bump stops. Just give it a shot, if you don't pop them off then no worries but I'd test it.

Secondly, biggy was w/ me last weekend, on 35's and w/ his wife and baby on board was able to take every hard line at TW w/ no issues. Just stay away from the monster mud-hole and you'll be gravy.
