Remindder of a group heading to Uwharrie NF Nov. 2,3,4. Will be tent camping at Arrowhead. Any one wanting to attend feel free to pack up and meet us and convoy in or just meet us there.

Yeah that was a welcome to the southern style of off roading for sure.
I had a good time out there today and it's always fun getting people unstuck, even if the strap decides to go.

And man, that hill doesn't look steep at all in the picture.

10/21 Page Rd pics/vids

OK,
I can't get the vids to link properly so hopefully you can get to here. The K5 from the top of the hill gives a bit more perspective and the final making of the hill. I will edit the collection and get it on youtube and link it here.

IMO, TW is probably the most technical of the 3 trails. Page is just pure mud (which my truck loves). Little Dr is just plain damn fun and a great ride.

I wont be able to ride for a few weeks. Replacing broken CV this week, and I still need to wait until my Kings and shackle flip come in and install them so I can flex these 37s without destroying my fenders

little dr is an easy and fun trail. it has a little mud, a creek crossing and some good hills to climb. don't really have to worry about getting stuck in ruts or anything out there. lots of fun

idk..I think the hill the blazer climbed at page is a little steeper and more difficult. It's all the way at the end next to the lake. it has a lot of loose dirt and rock.

Very interested to see Little too. That Blazer climb was steep enough with the rocks that twice we weren't sure if it was going to come down end over end. All of it (except the mudpit on page) is pretty great!

That was a pretty steep hill, nice job with it and it being so muddy.

I've ran all 3, and the hills at Little Dr are definitely harder. The line we all took in the video is the easy way up that hill. If you want a challenge, go up the left side next time (the right side on the video).

Ray and I rode Little the night after a heavy rain storm, we couldn't even make it up the first hill because it was so slick. Had to turn around.

What time are you leaving on Friday, Nov 2? I won't be able to leave until mid-afternoon due to work. Will probably arrive at Uwharrie around 3-4pm Friday and setup camp.
