TW Help??

Hey,
As you can see below my quick run to TW during lunch to show a friend the trails didn't end very well. It was super slick, had to winch up the hill, but in the process either picked something up, or lost the bead and this was the results.
I couldn't get back to try to change it and I was wondering if anyone might be around tomorrow afternoon/evening to lend a hand?
I have two issues, I am not sure if my jack even on wood will get it up high enough (yup, I need to test that out..), and I had shoulder surgery 6 weeks ago and I can't risk pulling the spare off at that height. Down low (changing the tire) I should be fine.....

I plan to go try it tomorrow afternoon anyway, but if someone was going to be around, and maybe with a hi-jack that would be great!! And you can make fun of me, and get a six pack of your choice out of the deal too...

Great start to the new year!!

Second pic is just before but already looks a bit low...

Mike

Thanks guys. I am going to head over there late afternoon and see if I can get it done. Maybe this is my excuse to pick up a hi-lift ...... Ray, if I end up needing the extra hand I will let you know before 5... Thanks.
I think I can get someone from my work to come out to help too so hopefully I will be all set, and not get stuck on the way out.. :-)
On the lighter side, getting unstuck was great and fun, and the winch worked great!

Chris texted me today, sorry I was no help. Don't think a Saturn Vue has the slightest chance of making it up the entrance.

Hey guys I'm new to forum and would like to know where I can wheel my lj rubicon in raleigh? I go to state and live on campus and would like to know of any places close by where me and my buddies can have a good time. I've heard of a place called page rd but don't know anything about it thanks

Mike, how far into the trail are you? I might be able to help. If my schedule doesn't allow me to take my rig back there when you're available, you're more than welcome to borrow my hi-lift. And I'm close by in Brier Creek.

That's crazy, had you aired down or was it one of those freak things?

I didn't air down at all, in fact I had just checked pressure this past weekend, so just odd.

Thanks Buddy, I am just at the first big hill, so I was going to hike in as it isn't too far for carrying a jack. I may stop by and actually buy one, figuring I will want one at some point but I am still deciding. If you want to shoot me your cell I can give you a call if I need it. (nine-seven-eight:302:nine-six-two-five)
Plan is to head over there around 3:30/4, hopefully with a friend from work when he gets back to me.

Redman and Chris, thanks for the phone tags and trying to get me some help. I appreciate it all. The entry test over there is definitely a stopper for the Vue... I was trying to convince my friend to try it with his new Chevy full size when he picked me up but to no avail... :-)
Thanks guys and I will let you know how it turns out!

We all need to go Saturday, that way none of us miss the playoff games on Sunday. I'm itching to watch Washington get the crap kicked out of them.

Yeah i forgot about cars and coffee on Saturday. I'll for sure be there in the SRT-4. Any chance of meeting earlier on Sunday?

Oh and we got Mike out of the trail. By the time I got there, they already had it jacked up and swapping the spare. So i was there for moral support lol!

Thanks for coming Kyle, and the rescue was complete. Everyone should have a second jeep just for this case!! :-)
Thanks to everyone else for the offers too, great crowd here!

What time is the cars on Saturday? I have a 9:30 BBall game with my son but would like to go to that too. We should plan to meet there sometime with a strong Jeep contingent.
