As far as Moab goes, I used to live in Utah so we had a chance to go there frequently.

But, when I lived in Baltimore we hired a semi truck driver with one of those big car trailers to haul 7 or 8 rigs down there and followed in my Suburban. Ended up being cheaper than going down and renting rigs. I have rented from Moab Off-road before and at the time you could get a bone stock TJ or a modified CJ, however, if you broke it you paid for it.

Would you say it's a trip worth taking? I know there has to be some hype to it.

I'm deffinitley game, its just the timing has to be perfect and far out enough to plan for. I'd like to drive there and see all the states on the way. Probably a 2 week deal, three days there and three days back just in travel.

Moab

If it is not on your bucket list it should be!

Tons of trails with truly unique views and terrain. Amazing is an over used word right now, but every time I am there I am pinching myself saying that exact word. On top of that talk about a town that is Jeeper friendly, it just does not get any better in the U.S.A. than Moab.

Or we can find some more local spots, use the saved gas/plane tickets money and spend it on more Jeep parts! What did I see about a spot ya'll used to wheel with a creek in it? Are there still signs posted? Would like to head back to TW before too long too.

This sounds like you're hosting a superbowl party and inviting all of use right?!?! We all should get together and do something for sure.

I rather leave the busting to someone else if you ask me.

Are we back on to wheeling there? There was a scare two months ago about that spot, but it's soooo much fun!

What happened? I imagine it involved law enforcement?

I need to set up a credit program with interest. It will be called "Sneaky Spouse Credit Union."

Little Dr is just that it is little, but in my opinion it is super cool. It has a little bit of everything...a little bit of rocks...creek crossing...tunnel...hills...mud(I hate mud)...lol and a big screen tv. It's just the perfect trail to hit after work, or during your lunch hour. The last time I took the YJ there they had no trespassing signs up, but I heard the four wheelers were back there. Lol...funny story...the last time the Disco was back there there was a couple getting busy in a Honda Pilot.

Is this little dr off of Davis? They guy who bought my Jeep was just telling me about stuff over there, and some more in RTP area that I hadn't heard of. I know from the bike trails there are a lot of fire roads around there. I am out again this weekend with travel but might be interested in a lunch run if someone was up for that.

I was also looking into making RAW a 'real' club, and found some info on a few other clubs around the area that we may want to hook up with, or find more about. A few are more for stock jeeps, but these looked interesting and I wondered if anyone here knew anyone with them?

: Triad Jeep Club

Not all super close, but might give us more trails to hook up with. Some maintain private areas too. That is something I would love a 'real' club to look into if it was at all possible. My MTB club in MA ended up buying a bunch of land as it was going to go to developers. Probably not financially feasible but man there is a lot of empty land around that would be fun to play with.... Who knows!!

An unrelated note... I was watching some vids of Rausch Creek (recent Topless for TaTa's thread) which looks awesome too.....

Good deal, I'm in for whatever the plan is.

Guys, don't forget this Saturday is Cars and Coffee as well. So how about this:

1. Slick up the Jeeps for C&C. Never seen an offroad gathering there, think that would be pretty cool. Grab some breakfast at the Chic-fil-a while there.

2. Head from there to The Rock.

3. Lunch.

4. TW, Page, Little Dr. afterwards.

SOLD. Post the address and time for cars and coffee.

My Solid diff covers are back ordered, my drive shaft shipped late, but my Aussie and SYE should be in by the end of the week!
