It was replaced with a 2013 jeep. Just checking to see if anyone has one (preferably a stubby) that they've taken off to change out with something else. It's a long shot but hey we's jeepers. Would be for the new jeep.

I will be up there on Sunday in my gecko jku. The hardest trail I plan on doing is Dutch John. Taking a friend in her 2013 Sahara jku, her first time out I want to keep it easy for her.

Dont mean to get off topic.

Does anyone in here know anyone in Charlotte? I'm looking for a second set of hands to help me change my clutch. Don't want to risk possibly damaging ligament by pulling it myself. Thanks in advance.

We got there just in time to see the fail and rescue. We were in the gecko and white jku's, but then we had to roll back to Jacksonville.

Thanks Peanut but I'm looking for something aftermarket right now. I've used the RC kits before and didn't care for them as much as I thought I would.

All you need is the pin in the hitch. A strap fits it perfect. I've used this method before

I've used the pin method I'm just thinking maybe something on the sides too. Maybe I should find a way to attach to the frame ?

Was actually at Uwharrie the weekend of May 17-18th. It rained. Uwharrie is a completely different experience wet. A little dangerous in some parts. Even some of the easy and moderate trails were challenging in some parts due to the clay being slicker than owl sh*t. Folks in stock jeeps (street tires) were having a hard time of it. Was really glad I had my mud tires.

I took a chance and tried Dickey Bell and just barely made it up the rocky hill on Dickey Bell. That was a white knuckle experience I would probably not do again. My Jeep was bucking and sliding all over the place. Others were turning around and going back they way they came.

It was nice not to have the usual dust bowl, but I think I'll wait a long time before I do Uwharrie wet again. Hope to get back there sometime during the middle of the summer if anyone is going then.
