I run 35's (Kelly Safari's which is the cheaper duratrac) with a teraflex leveling kit. On the road with regular fenders it was fine, rubbed on the trail. I cut them down and it is fine now. They are on 17's and I agree the 15's are great from a price standpoint. not looking forward to replacing them..
Of course at that point, Ray is going to try to convince me I need 37's

I will check RAW but wondering if anyone is going on tomorrow. I convinced the wife and son to go ....

I run 35's too (Toyo Open Country MTs) with 18" rim and Rubicon Express 3.5. The tires do rub offroad and still need to cut my fenders but I think they do pretty good until I get the chance to cut them. Hope you can decide what you want to get I know it took me awhile to decide.

Thanks for the input everyone. This is not a small purchase, so I'm trying to gather all the info I can before hand, then submit my business case to the wife ;-)

Right now I'm looking at this setup, still need to fill in some holes and/or could use more advice:

Wheels: 15" Level 8 Trackers -19 back spacing, this is different than the -30bs wheel they had for a long time, so the tires should tuck a little nicer.
Tires: 35x12.50xR15 BFG KM2s. I really like the stock KM2s on the Rubi, so no need to mess with a good thing. The 15" tire is so much cheaper than the 16 or 17.
Lift: TF2.5 or RK2.5 Flex. I'm still not exactly sure which bits I need. On-road drive is most important to me, since thats where 95% of the driving will take place. I could use the most advice as to which kit/extra parts I really need.
I know someone prior said I won't get much lift with the 10A, but it is supposedly only .5" taller than the regular Rubi and plenty of others have lifted their 10As with 2.5s and had very good results, so I'm thinking I should be good as well.

Hope I'm on the right path. Please let me know if I'm going in the wrong direction.

I plan to sell my existing wheels/tires and coils/shocks to offset the cost of all this.
So anyone local, be on the lookout for some 10A takeoffs.

Trust me, I wasn't saying you shouldn't lift. I was just trying to point out that you could run 35s on an aftermarket wheel without issue on a 10a. When you decide to sell your stock suspension, let me know. I have a few friends here in Knox that would love it.

RK 2.5 and 35's. I like the 17's. KM2s or Nitto Trail Grappler.

with either gas or lighter fluid, you can pop a bead back on a tire with ease. sounds and looks kinda crazy but it works great. that way they could reseal the bead on the wheel and air it back up

Isn't that the almost $100K 10A?
I think I saw that in another thread, crazy markup for the mods they have on it!!

It is nice looking though. I'm just trying to get higher so I stop high centering all the time! :-)

Stu, Tim ^^ has the best setup I think. I will stay 17 If I were you (it's easier if you decide going to 37! ) RK 2.5 its the way to go, I bought mine with 4" teraflex lift and I felt like its bit to high for my taste.

Stu, if you get 15" rims make sure you have the right back spacing (3.75 or lower) otherwise you will have major issue with your caliper touching the inner from rims. With 3.75 back spacing you just need to grind about a mm on d44. The set that Bret Jeep use to be mine, pro comp steel wheel + GY wrangler MTR = 90lbs not bad at all! Check this out! : http://www.summitracing.com/parts/pcw-52-5173

hey everyone, new to the forums. Seeing some sweet Jeeps up here. This is the best forum i have seen so far in this area. '95 Jeep Wrangler YJ 2.5l. Haven't really done much to it, it is mostly stock other than the front and back guard and the nerf bars.

Thanks Ray.
I've been talking with DiscountTire on this board and they assured me that this wheel does not rub the brake caliper on the JK Rubi.

So, what do you guys think my takeoff parts should be able to fetch?
From what I have read so far, $1000 for the wheels/tires seems pretty feasible. Wonder if I could net a bit more for 10A wheels.

I have no idea what the coils/shocks from the 10A should fetch. Can you guys offer some suggestions as to what to list them for once I get them off? These do have an extra 1/2" over the stock Rubis

Wheels and tires. Stand firm, somebody will DEFINITELY snatch them up. Some guy with a cherokee bought mine.

Be forewarned though, once you go down a trail stock, you will start researching ways to not be stock anymore!
