Yeah yeah... Follow me through the hard lines, the new winch will get you out time for an 8.8 and lockers bro. And i know just where it all sits.

That's crazy... But coming from a non-police crown vic, i think we can assume what type of people were acting like tards in that car... Typical Durham people.

It was cool seeing your son drive the JK! I want to see him wheeling it by himself in no time yeah it broke, twice, on the same spot. Broke, fixed it, went right back up the hill and broke again. It was pretty sad/dumb.

Yeah i did forget to mention not to stray off the main trails, it was going to be developed as a neighborhood, and since it has all grown up with bushes, water pipes, fire hydrants and concrete drainage ditches are everwhere. Should have remembered to mention it at the gas station.

Yepp, no "no tresspassing" sings anywhere. We make sure to keep it all legal.

Glad to see so many new faces and rigs! Had a blast. And I'm going to give ya'll more hell to do the fun stuff next time.
So the rocks have been moved from the entrance and the no trespassing signs have been removed? Thats cool - except for the bullets of course....

I actually went in the old way to check it out and the rocks were there. No signs though, so I backed out and actually went in on S New Hope Road. A very nice policeman pointed me to that entrance and that it was open! He just said "Don't tell anyone I told you, but that gates are open on S. New Hope, so go in there....."
Very nice guy, I was ready to get a lecture or something...

Cool video dude, as one who likes to put some video with music myself I appreciate the effort it takes to get it together. Sorry I couldn't make it out there yesterday, but I'll be back soon.

I thought this place was marked no trespassing from a while ago? People are still wheeling there?

I guess since I didnt' see a sign at either entrance I went in on, and a policeman pointed me to an entrance I wasn't as worried about it. If it is clearly posted it is harder to play dumb... TW and Page I haven't seen a sign yet either and hopefully we don't.
I know similar situations like the airport near Crabtree park. That land is technically owned by the airport, but the local MTB'ers build some great trails on it and it is kind of "look the other way" setup.
I would love to find some other places to ride that is truly legit......

Time for RAW and BJSC to pick up some land??

Fun ride!

Great video UnlimitedSoldier! Was glad to see that pretty white LJ jump in the mud holes from my rear view mirror .

As far as the "sign" that people are talking about, I never saw a single one on our ride this past Sunday, so as far as I'm concerned, there isn't one. Now if I stumble across one, or a new one is posted at an entrance we use, then I'll stop wheeling there. It's too good of a spot to stop going for a sign that is hundreds of yards out of our sight, that we never crossed.

Plus I think these lighter trails are more friendly to new wheelers, whereas I was trained by the crew at TW. Although mine was very capable when I bought it, it still scared the crap out of me the first couple times. Made for some laughs at my expense lol .

Still needing to get mine fixed, but it actually drove pretty good in FWD lol. Looking forward to the next ride.

FYI. I know the old developer of "olde town". He said that the "rock" land has been sold to a company out of Texas that has no current plans for future development. I even wanted to say he told me they were in bankruptcy and believes the bank has/is taking it over.

Anybody have any knowledge about winch installs? Xrc8000. Do I need any extras to complete this upcoming project before I get deep into it and end up cursing and throwing tools? Any forewarning would be appreciated.

If you are close to Durham, I can help. I just wired in a Warn to mine, it was stupid easy. I think everything you will need is in the box. It was for my Warn. Do you have your winch plate yet?
