I did it in the lawn.....those damn machines take all my quarters and then some. A spinkler owkrs good to presoak the undercarriage. I basically spent 3 hours on the whole process.

I do the same thing...haha they take like $4 to start and you get like 3 minutes.

Wow, I've never thought of that but its a great idea! I just use our heavy duty pressure washer. I finished like an hour ago...took me about 2 hours

Go to Lowes and buy a heavy duty 15ft hose for $10 and a nozzle/sprayer for $3 and spend as much time as you need to clean your rig. I used to do the same thing at the pressure wash but that was not smart. Too much money and still too much mud! Now I can get under my Jeep and make sure everything is clean.

Oh and I hate mud just for the record.

Page Road Trails

Ok, just got my Jeep. Love it so far, and can't wait to have REAL fun with it. I have been reading about trails near Page Rd and TW Alexander. I live and work near Brier Creek, so I would love to know where these spots are. Any help would be appreciated. Can't wait to bury myself in the Jeep lifestyle. Thanks for your help.

Hello Everyone.

I'm new to the forum, located in North Raleigh and would love to get out on some trails soon. Do y'all get out often? I'd be interested in tagging along the next time a group goes out to hit some trails.

ESP said in the beginning of this thread something about garner trails by the dealership. Anyone been out there and how is it compared to page? Also anyone willing to go out to wake forest any time this week to scout out a trail I found? I didn't venture to far in alone but it looks good from areial pictures.

Yeah, I'm with Jude. However, I do hit the car wash on the way home just to knock off the big stuff. This is to avoid a brown driveway and lots of clean up afterwards. I pressure wash and detail at home where I can take my time & not worry about how much time is on the meter.

I cleaned my jeep off yesterday and i found a hefty bunch of clear coat from those damn trees in the middle of that 6ft wide trail, and black helps them pop out even more Good thing i have Meguiars scratch x 2.0!

When i get more im gonna wet sand it and buff them out and give it a nice waxing.

Sooo...the check engine light was blinding me on my way home from work on Monday night. The TPS sensed its last throttle position (RIP little buddy!) and needed to be replaced. Why oh why does every little bolt have to be TORX?!!! I had to remove the entire throttle body so I could get the TPS off to replace it! Finally got it off and everything back together. The CE light is off again. All is well in the Kingdom....time to get her dirty again!

Haven't been there in a long time but been meaning to go back out and see if it's still accessible. Might make a trip out there this weekend possibly.

I'm really close to that dealership (about 10 mins away). I rode around in that area a few weekends ago, but I didn't see anything.

Interested if there is anything there. I really want to take the boy out somewhere soon. If only the heat would cooperate.

Having lived in the Wakefield/Wake Forest area for about 6 years now, I know most if not all of the trails around. If anyone is trying to meet up to ride a few of them, i'm game. There is one in Wake Forest/Jones Dairy that is owned by a guy that rides four wheelers and it has plenty of hills, pits, and even a figure 8 . Havent been lately but he was ok with us getting dirty last time my buddies and I went.

Right off 40 can't miss it! It's very wet right now. I would go with someone your first time in case you get stuck.

Is it behind the apartments on the right side of Page coming off 40? There is a pretty big pile of dirt right at the entrance. Is that the one? I looked back there one day and it looked like a pretty good spot, just wasn't sure what was back there. Legal open land?
